The ConnectR Utilities are 32-bit programs

At the end of June, 1997, AIQ released their 32-bit TradingExpert, version 4.0 for Windows 95 (and Windows NT, too). As of July 21, 1997, Trading Connections was shipping both 16-bit (version 2.04) and 32-bit (version 2.05). On July 23, 1997, a free update was shipped to all existing customers. As of January 27, 2000, we are supplying version 2.07 only, and it is a 32-bit-only version.

The ConnectR Utilities also work with AIQ TradingExpert Pro

At the end of 1998, AIQ released TradingExpert Pro (also known as version 5) for Windows 95/98 and Windows NT. The existing 32-bit versions of the ConnectR Utilities operated just fine with the new version. Remember, though, that these utilities deal only with end-of-day stock data.

The ConnectR Utilities and Y2K

We thought we had the year 2000 problem well in hand when we first released the Utilities, but it seems that our compiler and our inadequate testing provided a surprise for us. See the bug fix page for on-line corrections.
